Co-operative living with the Cologne Tenants' Association

In 1925, the Cologne Tenants' Association, then known as the “Mieterschutzverein Köln”, founded the “Mieterschutz” eG housing and building co-operative in order to offer its members a number of benefits by building and providing modern flats at affordable prices:

• Sensibly calculated utilisation fees,
• no cancellation due to personal use,
• an appropriate dividend on the co-operative shares.

Since then, there has been a close relationship between the Cologne Tenants' Association and the Tenant Protection Co-operative. To this day, the tenants' association promotes and supports the endeavours of the cooperative.
 

Are you interested in a co-operative flat?

Members of the Cologne Tenants' Association can also rent a co-operative flat from the “Mieterschutz” housing and building co-operative. The allocation of flats is the responsibility of the co-operative following the subscription of co-operative shares.
