Cancellation policy and right of cancellation

Cancellation policy for contracts concluded outside the premises of the Cologne Tenants‘ Association and right of cancellation when joining the Cologne Tenants’ Association via the online portal.

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason: The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded via the new member portal.

This right of cancellation is excluded if you have already exercised your rights as a member of the Cologne Tenants' Association in accordance with Section 6 of our Articles of Association.

In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) stating your name, address and, if available, your telephone number and e-mail address.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
 

Consequences of cancellation:

If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this contract.

For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment.
