Full-time lawyer (m/f/d)

The Cologne Tenants' Association – a first port of call. With over 67,000 members, the Cologne Tenants' Association is one of the largest organisations in the German Tenants' Association (DMB). It advises its members on rental and housing issues and represents the interests of tenants in Cologne and the surrounding area. We are looking for a fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) with a 2nd state examination to strengthen our legal department for our Cologne office on a full-time basis as soon as possible.

Your tasks will include

• Advising and supporting our members in all matters relating to tenancy and leasehold law as well as residential property law
• Conducting legal consultations in person and by telephone
• Independently drafting legal briefs and conducting correspondence with the other party
• Support in the judicial enforcement or defence of disputed claims

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies to become a fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d)
• Ability to work in a team and curiosity to familiarise yourself with a new area of responsibility
• Negotiating skills and decisiveness
• Initiative and intuition
• Pragmatic disposition in the search for and development of solutions
